On May 15, 1999 Michigan Foundation Company was the concrete supplier for a record breaking concrete pour: 21,000 cubic yards in 21 hours! The pour was the foundation pad of a 950-foot-long tunel along Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airports new South Access Road. A total of 2,350, 9-yard loads of steel reinforced concrete were produced and delivered.
