In 1924 Michigan Foundation company began serving the building and construction community of Metropolitan Detroit by providing the best in Building Supplies, Coal, Coke, and Explosive Engineering Solutions. Then in 1947 MFC proudly announced its new service – Transit Mix Concrete!

MFC quickly gained notoriety and expertise in the industry. They built a solid reputation for quality, dependability and professionalism. Over the next 53 years their 1 main plant and 8 trucks expanded to 3 main plants, 6 portable plants and a fleet of more than 80 front and rear discharge mixers. Their client base grew from a few local contractors to national and international builders, architects, and construction companies.

For the year 2000 and beyond MFC is committed to keep in step with the concrete industry. Investment in equipment and technology is ongoing. Regular and continuing training of Sales, Dispatch, Delivery, Quality Control, Maintenance and Office staff assure the new technologies and equipment are provided to you by a competent and knowledgeable staff.
